Toshiba Aquarius-B
From Computing Classics Wiki
Aquarius-B is a hard drive platform created by Toshiba. It succeeds the previous Toshiba Capricorn-S, and introduces yet another HDA and label, which would be used for all further 9.5 mm platforms. Aquarius-B is notabe for being the only CMR 1 TB platform in production, after the Samsung Spinpoint M8 and FBLite were discontinued. Aquarius-B received a number of follow-up platforms; Toshiba Aquarius-B Slim, a 7 mm version, and Toshiba Aquarius-B2, an SSHD version. Aquarius-B is the final Toshiba 2.5" 9.5 mm platform with a known codename, and is the only SATA 2.6 platform that remains in production, although selected models with an -M suffix were upgraded to SATA 3.0 firmware.
