HGST Travelstar 7K1000 was a hard drive family created by HGST. It succeeded the Travelstar 7K750 and was a 1 TB 7,200 RPM 2.5" hard drive family. It competed with the Samsung Spinpoint D8X. The Travelstar 7K1000 was succeeded by the WDC WD10SPSX-xxAWHTx from the Western Digital Black family.
