TOSHIBA DT01ABA100V is a hard drive model originally created by Hitachi and currently made and sold by Toshiba. It is Toshiba's 1 TB consumer electronics hard drive model, and is a rebadged Hitachi HCS5C1010DLE630, which units of this model prior to December 2012 had printed on the label and identified as. Because of this, it spins at a lower 5,700 RPM, compared to the TOSHIBA DT01ACA100, in consistency with Hitachi Coolspin standards. This model has two retail deriatives; the TOSHIBA HDWU110 from the V300 family, now discontinued and marketed towards set-top box as well as light duty CCTV usage, and the TOSHIBA HDWV110 from the S300 family, which is marketed solely as a CCTV DVR/NVR drive. It competes against the WDC WD10EURX-xxUY4Yx, ST1000VM002-1CT162/-1ET162.
