WDC WD3200AAKS-xxVWAx was a hard drive model created by Western Digital. It is a 3.5" 7,200 RPM hard drive based on two 160 GB platters, and is one of many models to succeed the WDC WD3200KS-xxPFBx, having more density and introducing ramp parking. Similar models from other manufacturers included the ST3320620AS, Hitachi HDT725032VLA360 and SAMSUNG HD321KJ. This model was succeeded by the WDC WD3200AAKS-xxC9Ax, which switched the recording format to conventional perpendicular magnetic recording.
