WDC WD6400AAKS-xxA7Bx was a hard drive model created by Western Digital. It is a 640 GB 3.5" hard drive model, and succeeds the WDC WD5000AAKS-xxYGAx as the highest capacity of the outgoing Caviar SE16 family. It was available in both Caviar SE16 and Caviar Blue branding, as Western Digital changed its focus to a more colour-based marketing strategy. It was succeeded by the WDC WDWD6400AAKS-xxE4Ax, which increased density to 500 GB/platter.

  • The WD6400AAKS-xxA7Bx was available with two different PCBs; the 2060-701537 PCB used on STG Twin Lakes and Pinnacle, and the 2060-701590 PCB used on Pinclite. Unlike Pinnacle/Pinclite, both revisions do not result in a change of identifier codes and both are still known as Atlantis.
