WDC WD50NPZZ-xxA9JTx

WD50NPZZ-xxA9JTx is a hard drive model created by Western Digital. It is a 5 TB 2.5" thick SMR drive. Although part of the Blue line, it would be in the Green category had it existed at the time, indicated by both the 15 mm z-height which is a key qualifier for Green 2.5"s, and the "Z" suffix for the interface which indicates Green rebrands in this context. It is similar to many of WD's internal use Spyglass and Spyglass 2 drives.
Similar units from other manufacturers include the ST5000LM000. Toshiba do not make a 5 TB 2.5" drive, because their 15 mm HDA can only accommodate 4 platters.
