TOSHIBA MN08ADA400E is a hard drive model created by Toshiba. It succeeds the previous MN04ACA400, reducing the platter count to three while increasing density from 1 to 1.6 TB per platter, and is a binned relabel of the TOSHIBA MG08ADA400E, an enterprise drive. A 512n native version, the TOSHIBA MN08ADA400N is available, though it does reduce the density. It was released in 2021, initially exclusive to Japan before expanding internationally in October.[1]

History

Following the release of the Toshiba MG08-D family, the MN08ADA400E soon emerged in 2021, being distributed by Japanese distributor Fieldlake. The MN08ADA400E was later released internationally in October 2021.
