TOSHIBA MN08ADA400E is a hard drive model created by Toshiba. It succeeds the previous MN04ACA400, reducing the platter count to three while increasing density from 1 to 1.6 TB per platter, and is a binned relabel of the TOSHIBA MG08ADA400E, an enterprise drive. Its retail boxed equivalent is the TOSHIBA HDWG440. It was released in 2021, initially exclusive to Japan before expanding internationally in October.[1]
History
Following the release of the Toshiba MG08-D family, the MN08ADA400E soon emerged in 2021, being distributed by Japanese distributor Fieldlake. The MN08ADA400E was later released internationally in October 2021.
