TOSHIBA HDWR31E

From Computing Classics Wiki

TOSHIBA HDWR31E was a hard drive model created by Toshiba. It was a 14 TB helium-filled drive designed for performance PCs. The HDWR31E was introduced in 2019 as a complementary model to the earlier released TOSHIBA HDWR21E, being based on the newer Toshiba MG08 family, permitting a reduction in platter count from nine to eight. The HDWR31E was succeeded by the TOSHIBA HDWR51EUZSVA, which allowed a further platter shrink to seven.
