ST1000VM002-1SD102 is a hard drive model created by Seagate. Part of the Video 3.5 family of hard drives and based on the Pharaoh Oasis platform, it is a 1 TB 3.5" 5,900 RPM hard drive model designed for consumer electronics purposes such as DVRs. The ST1000DM003-1SB102 is the final of the four ST1000DM003 64 MiB cache models, with a different part number. Compared to the earlier ST1000DM003-1ER162, the ST1000DM003-1SB102 reverts back to contact start-stop instead of parking ramps, and downgrades the command set back to ATA8-ACS. A variant, ST1000DM003-1SB10C, has only 32 MiB cache instead of 64. Both were succeeded by the ST1000DM003-2EP102, which while mechanically similar introduces a new BarraCuda label.
