TOSHIBA HDWT860

TOSHIBA HDWT860 is a hard drive model created by Toshiba. It is a 3.5" 6 TB SMR hard drive, based off the Hitachi HDA from the DT01 series with Toshiba style firmware. It is a rebadged TOSHIBA DT02ABA600VH, targeted at retail customers, and is the first 6 TB model in the S300 family.

Similar models from other manufacturers include the WDC WD61PURX-xxESZYx.

History

The HDWT860 was part of a 2021 expansion to the S300 family, adding 256 MB cache models to it.[1]
