ST4000VN006-3CW104 is a hard model created by Seagate. It succeeds the ST4000VN007-2DR166 as Seagate's main 4 TB hard drive model targeted at NAS devices, depending on the new 2 TB platters used by its platform, V15CMRIR, versus three 1.33 TB platters that the ST4000VN007-2DR166 utilised. As part of this, it also manages to slim down from the standard 26.1 mm z-height to 20.2 mm, as standard for modern Seagate two-platter models.
