Seagate BarraCuda is a hard drive family created by Seagate. It replaces the more generically named Laptop and Laptop Thin HDDs. Despite Seagate previously using the brand name Momentus for 2.5" laptop HDDs, this family ditches the Momentus name in favour of the BarraCuda name historically associated with desktop HDDs. This family also includes the 7,200 RPM BarraCuda Pro models.
