HGST HTS545032A7E680 was a hard drive model created by HGST. It was a 5,400 RPM 2.5" 7 mm hard drive model, succeeding the Hitachi HTS543232A7E384, upgrading to SATA 3.0, 500 GB/platters, and Advanced Format. Units prior to 2014 were based on the Jaguar-1B platform, whereas units since 2014 were instead based on the Jaguar-1BR platform, which introduced a new top lid and label. It complements parent company Western Digital's WDC WD3200LPVX-xxV0TTx, being produced concurrently prior to being discontinued. It competed against the TOSHIBA MQ01ABF032 and ST320LT012-1DG14C.
