WDC WD5000BEVT-xxA0RTx was a hard drive model created by Western Digital. It is a 500 GB 2.5" hard drive designed for consumer laptop PCs, and succeeds the WDC WD5000BEVT-xxZATx, increasing the platter density to 333 GB/platter. It was succeeded by the WDC WD5000BPVT-xxHXZTx, which switched to Advanced Format.
