TOSHIBA HDWL120 is a hard drive model created by Toshiba. It is a 2 TB 2.5" 9.5 mm SMR drive. Part of the Toshiba L200 family, it was released in 2018, and is the retail version of the TOSHIBA MQ04ABD200, which was released earlier in 2017. It is the largest capacity model in the L200 family.
Similar units from other manufacturers include the WDC WD20SPZX-xxUA7Tx/-xxCRATx and ST2000LM015-2E8174, although both of these are 7 mm.
History
The HDWL120, along with its 1 TB SMR companion, the TOSHIBA HDWL110, were both released in 2018, as an extension to the L200 family.
