WDC WD10EADS-xxM2Bx is a hard drive model created by Western Digital. It is a 3.5" 1 TB CMR drive, using 500 GB platters. While most units of this model sold do not support Advanced Format, those identifying with the WDC WD10EADS-11M2B2 model number with 11M2B2 identifier support 512e Advanced Format. Since the 11 customer code is designed for external hard drives, this means the majority of WD10EADS that support Advanced Format are used in external enclosures.
