Toshiba MG05ACA is a hard drive family created by Toshiba. It also consists of the subfamilies Toshiba MD05ACA and Toshiba MN05ACA. This family was first shipped in 2017.[1] This family was quite short lived, being discontinued shortly after the Toshiba MG06ACA and relatives were released in 2017-2018.

Trivia
- This generation of Toshiba nearline and professional desktop/NAS drives has both the fewest models and is the most short lived generation, with a mere six models across all subfamilies, and lasting only a year.
- All models in this family are codenamed Galaxy, with the exception of the MN05ACA600, which is actually a Tomcat-R from the MN04 generation.
