HGST Travelstar Z5K500 was a hard drive product family made by Hitachi and later HGST. It is HGST's second generation of 7 mm drives, utilising 500 GB platters and Advanced Format. It complemented parent company Western Digital's Blue family. This family was succeeded by the Z5K500.B family, which was manufactured by Western Digital using the HubLT2 platform.

Trivia
- Two different generations of this family exist. Units made before 2014 are codenamed Jaguar-1B and look identical to the Eagle-B7 platform used for the Z5K320. Units made at some point in or after 2014 use the Jaguar-1BR platform, with a redesigned label and more substantial cutout for the heads.
