ST2000DM001-1CH164 was a hard drive model created by Seagate. It succeeded the mechanically similar ST2000DM001-9YN164, and was more consistently branded as a Seagate Desktop HDD, although rare units continuing to carry Barracuda branding do exist. As with its predecessors, while many ST2000DM001-1CH164s use a two-platter configuration, some use three. This model was succeeded by the ST2000DM001-1ER164, which upgraded the command set and disabled the diagnostic port. Similar models from other manufacturers included the TOSHIBA DT01ACA200 and WDC WD20EZEX-xxEYGAx.
