APPLE HDD HTS541010A9E662 was a hard drive model created by HGST and exclusively used by Apple Inc. in various iMac computers. It was a 5,400 RPM 2.5" 9.5 mm model using two 500 GB platters, and was an Apple-exclusive offshoot of the mainstream HGST HTS541010A9E680. Compared to it, however, the HTS541010A9E662 doubles its cache to 16,384 kB, locks the interface to SATA 300 MB/s (despite the model number implying otherwise), and adds a free-fall sensor.
