WDC WD2500AAJS-xxM0Ax was a hard drive model created by Western Digital. It succeeds various 250 GB models from the Pinnacle family released earlier, with a new PCB and spindle motor that sounds somewhat similar to Western Digital Caviar Green drives. It competed with the ST3250310AS and Hitachi HDP725025GLA380; of those, the WD2500AAJS-xxM0Ax was the only one to be based on short-stroked 320 GB platters as opposed to straight 250 GB platters, as WD's own WDC WD2500AAJS-xxVTAx proved unpopular. This model was ultimately succeeded by the WDC WD2500AAJS-xxV4Ax family, which used single head 500 GB platters to achieve 250 GB.
