ST32000542AS was a hard drive model created by Seagate. It was the flagship model of the Barracuda LP family, using the four-platter HDA of Hepburn to its full capacity, being a 2 TB 5,900 RPM drive. This model was succeeded by the ST2000DL003-9VT166, which features an increased cache of 64 MiB, a higher platter density permitting fewer platters and ramp loading. Competing models included the WDC WD20EADS-xxR6Bx and SAMSUNG HD203WI.
