ST500LM012 HN-M500MBB, also known as SAMSUNG HN-M500MBB under production by Samsung, was a hard drive model created by Samsung, and produced by both them and later Seagate. It is a 500 GB 2.5" hard drive, part of the Spinpoint M8 series that introduced 500 GB platters to Samsung's lineup as well as to the 2.5" industry, enabling 1 TB drives.
