WDC WD1600AVVS-xxL2Bx was a hard drive model created by Western Digital. It is a 160 GB 3.5" hard drive designed for consumer DVRs, and is a one-head version of a WDC WD3200AVVS-xxL2Bx. It succeeds the WDC WD1600AVJS-xxWNAx, reducing the number of heads from two to one, and reducing spindle speed to 5,000 RPM as was the growing trend in this period. It was succeeded by the WDC WD1600AVCS-xx2DYx.
