WDC WD5000AAKX-xxU6AAx was a hard drive model created by Western Digital. It is a 500 GB 3.5" hard drive designed for OEM and low-cost storage solutions, using 500 GB platters as with other Tahoe XL platform models. It was succeeded by the WDC WD5000AZKX-xxD6NAx, which increased density and added Advanced Format.
