ST2000DM008-2FR102 is a hard drive model created by Seagate. It is a 3.5" 2 TB SMR drive, but is 7,200 RPM, unlike the majority of similar models (including Seagate's own 5,425 RPM SMR model, ST2000DM005-2CW102. This model was one of many that was part of the reveal that Seagate had submarined SMRs without disclosure in 2020.[1] It was succeeded by the ST2000DM008-2UB102 in 2021, which has a new PCB that would later be used in the V15CMRIR platform.
