TOSHIBA DT01ACA025 was a hard drive model created by Toshiba. It is based on the Hitachi HDS721025DLE630, with Toshiba labelling and drive revision numbering. It, along with the TOSHIBA DT01ACA032, TOSHIBA DT01ACA050 and TOSHIBA DT01ACA100, was the first consumer-targeted 3.5" hard drive model to be released by Toshiba and one of the first drives on the market with 1 TB platters.
Competing drives included the WDC WD2500AAJS-xxV4Ax/xxYZCAx, WDC WD2500AAKS-xxV1Ax/xxV6Ax/xxWWPAx/xxUU3Ax, WDC WD2500AAKX-xx1CAx/xx3CAx/xxERMAx/xxU6AAx and Seagate ST250DM000-1BD141/1BC141. The DT01ACA025 was discontinued around 2013 as a result of the 250 GB category becoming obsolete.
