Samsung Spinpoint M8, later marketed as Seagate Spinpoint M8, was a hard drive family created by Samsung and later manufacturered under supervision by Seagate. It is the first 2.5" 9.5 mm 1 TB laptop hard drive family,[1] and succeeds the previous Spinpoint M7E. It is the first Samsung hard drive family to deploy Advanced Format.
