WDC WD40EFPX-xxC6CNx is a hard drive model created by Western Digital. Binned for NAS use, it is a 4 TB 3.5" CMR hard drive. Unlike its predecessor, the WDC WD40EFPX-xxAWUNx, this drive uses 2 TB platters and one less head and platter.
