TOSHIBA MK8032GSX is a hard drive model created by Toshiba. It is the first SATA 80 GB model created by Toshiba, succeeding the TOSHIBA MK8032GAX which is based on a similar platform, but uses PATA. It shares similar specifications with it, being a 5,400 RPM 40 GB/platter model based on the Aries-S platform. It was succeeded by the TOSHIBA MK8034GSX, which uses 60 GB platters. Similar models from other manufacturers include the Hitachi HTS541080G9SA00, FUJITSU MHT2080BH and SAMSUNG HM080JI.
